Description

B-12 and folic acid regulate the formation of red blood cells.  B-12 is also required for proper digestion and absorption, protein synthesis and metabolism of carbohydrates and fats.‡

Includes folic acid in the bioavailable form of methyl folate for the growth and reproduction of red and white blood cells, the conversion of homocysteine to methionine, and the production of gastric hydrochloric acid.‡
